- 3 / 5By Kira ConteWe moved to Ewa so I wanted to try the 2 korean restaurants here. We tried this place first. I'm a big fan of Tasty's in Waipahu, but I wanted to just see what was out there.
I got the kalbi/meat jun plate like I always get. I wasn't blown away. The kalbi had good flavor, but the meat jun was kind of oily. I got all veggies so I could have an extra veggie. I got 2x cucumber, potato, kim chee, and choy sum. I was disappointed with the cucumber and kim chee. The rest was ok.
I also got the honeydew boba drink. The slushy part was really good, but the tapioca pearls were kind of gross. Like they cooked them too long or something.
All in all, it was ok. But I think if I had a craving, I would just rather take the drive to Waipahu's Tastys (we tried Elims, it was even worse).May 08, 2017
